Winter Months: October 2020 - March 2021
Tri Club Turbo Session: Tuesday Nights 5:30 - 6:45pm at Staney Hill Hall. Bring your own bike and turbo trainer for a quality hour of focused training. Followed by a run for those who wish.
Tri Club Swimming Sessions: Saturday afternoons 1-2pm in Clickimin Pool. Sessions are open to anyone of any ability, and focus mainly on technique and stroke improvement.
Training Costs as follows:
Tri Club Group Ride: Monday nights 6:00pm.
Now the nights are light enough to get out on the bikes we have replaced our Monday night turbo session with a club ride. Meeting by the Clickimin track at 6pm on Monday evenings we will head out for a spin. Any newbies will be guided through the basics of bike handling/pacing/safety and will gain experience of riding in a group.
Routes and distances will change weekly depending on ability and group size. If we get enough interest we will hopefully get 2 or 3 groups on the go. Roadworthy bike and hemet are essential.
We also join in with the Shetland Wheelers throughout the year. From April to September the club runs a Time Trial series which is a great way to push yourself and see improvements over the course of the season. Times are:
Sun mornings: Meet 9:15am (Tingwall Hall or south end of Tingwall Straights) for your choice of either a 10 mile, 25 mile or 12 mile hilly Time Trial.
Tue nights: Meet 6:15pm at Tingwall Hall for another chance to tacke your prefered course.

Through the summer we do running sessions after our Monday Night group ride.
Throughout the whole year we train with the Athletics Club on a Wednesday night, 6:00 - 7:00pm on the Clickimin track. These sessions make a great addition to our training as they are geared towards middle/long distances, with a dedicated coach. All abilities welcome.
